About AIME
For more than four decades, the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIME) has served as a forum for research on artificial intelligence in medicine. Since its first edition in 1985, the conference has brought together researchers, clinicians, and technology experts to present new research and discuss advances in the field.
Over the years, AIME has evolved alongside the field of AI in medicine. From early expert systems to today’s machine learning and data-driven approaches, the conference has provided opportunities to exchange ideas and discuss how these advances can be applied in healthcare. Throughout its history, AIME has remained committed to scientific quality, clinical relevance, and the responsible use of AI.
Hosted at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute, AIME 2027 brings the conference back to Amsterdam, which last hosted the event in 2007, marking twenty years of the AIME conference series. Two decades later, AIME returns to Amsterdam, providing an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable evolution of AI in medicine while looking ahead to the opportunities and challenges that will shape its future.
AIME 2027 will bring together researchers and practitioners in medical AI, as well as healthcare professionals, from around the world to present their latest research, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaborations across disciplines. We look forward to welcoming you to Amsterdam for the 25th edition of AIME!
