The KIT Royal Tropical Institute
The main conference will take place at the KIT Institute, a historic landmark located in the heart of Amsterdam. The building combines historic architecture with modern conference facilities, providing an inspiring setting for international conferences and scientific events. Its central location and excellent accessibility make it a convenient venue for both national and international participants.



The Queen Máxima Hall will host the main conference programme, including the keynote speakers and the conference sessions.



The conference posters will be displayed in the impressive Marble Hall, which will also host the coffee breaks.
Getting to the KIT
Various public transport connections provide convenient access to the KIT Institute, such as the ones in the following.
From Amsterdam Central Station, take tram 14 towards Flevopark and exit at Mauritskade, located in front of the KIT Institute.
Alternatively, take Metro 54 towards Gein to Weesperplein, then transfer to tram 19 towards Muiderpoortstation and exit at Mauritskade.
Getting to the VU
The VU Amsterdam campus is well connected by public transport and can be reached easily from Amsterdam Central Station.
From Amsterdam Central Station, take Metro 52 to Amsterdam Zuid Station. From there, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the VU Amsterdam campus.
Alternatively, take tram 24 towards VUmc and get off at De Boelelaan / VU, located next to the VU Amsterdam campus.
The Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
The workshops and tutorials will take place in the Computer Science Building (NU Building), located on the Vrij Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam campus in Amsterdam Zuid. The building offers a modern environment suitable for learning and knowledge exchange. It includes facilities for academic and research events.
